Varsity Assistant Coach/Statistician
While Michael is sure that most of the young men on the team think he’s been around since dirt, he’d like to dispel this rumor by stating he knows for a fact that dirt arrived a good two or three years before he did.
Michael started coaching baseball many years ago at Hopkins for their in-house program. After he graduated from high school, his family moved to Burnsville where he continued to coach. He’s coached at every level from T-ball to town ball and enjoyed the surprises each level has brought. He has also continued to play either baseball or softball since he’s been 8 years old. Michael is a graduate, registered professional engineer, and has received two United States patents. He has since sold the company that he founded and is now semi-retired.
As a sidewise factoid, Michael is also a writer and had several of his poems published.

Brad grew up in St. James, MN, where he attended and graduated from St. James High School, and enjoyed playing multiple successful years of varsity baseball and football for the Saints. He attended college at South Central College and Minnesota State University-Mankato, where he earned a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. He continued to play State Amateur League Baseball, fast-pitch softball, and slow-pitch softball for many additional years after graduation. Brad has been coaching baseball for Burnsville programs for nearly 20 years, at both the youth baseball and high school baseball levels, and has also coached in Burnsville football programs for nearly as many years. He and his wife Lori have been very involved over the years with the Burnsville Baseball Boosters, as well as other booster organizations and youth athletic boards. They both absolutely love working with the kids!!!
After a few years away from coaching, Brad is exceptionally grateful and excited for the opportunity to be coaching again with the Burnsville Baseball program and helping in other ways as well to continue the strong Burnsville Baseball tradition and provide a positive experience for the young men in our program! Go Blaze!!!
